One of the ways I distract myself on-set, usually while the DP is lighting a shot, is to shoot stills. I shoot film (Kodak 3200 asa for b/w, Fujichrome slides for color), not digital, because nothing compares to the texture of real film grain. Here are some of my favorite candid shots from the last few years.
